ScotDance Ontario - Honourary Life Members

CRITERIA:

Nominees should meet any of the following criteria:

Outstanding service to ScotDance Ontario at the provincial level;

Service that has extended over time;

Service that is recognized across the country by the various regions as having had a major
impact on the development of ScotDance Ontario and its objectives.

Performer and/or competitor who is recognized world-wide as having had a major positive
impact through their outstanding achievements on the dance community as a whole.

PROCEDURE:

Nominations for Honorary Life Membership shall:

Be submitted by a ScotDance Ontario member

Be seconded by a ScotDance Ontario member different from the nominating member

Once seconded, be submitted to the SDO Executive approval by January 1st

Upon approval, be submitted by the Executive to secretary by February 1st for inclusion on
the preliminary agenda for the upcoming ScotDance Ontario AGM.

Nominations should include a brief description of the work accomplished by the nominee that
prompted the nomination for Independent Membership.

HONORARY LIFE MEMBER:

Shall be entitled to one vote per member, but MUST be a former member and will not be
responsible for dues. They DO get a vote, and SDO pays their dues.
